Montfort School Lachragarh was established in 2005 and it is managed by the it is managed by Montfort brothers of St. Gabriel, whose educational institutions in India and abroad are well known for their excellence. The school is named after Montfort who was a saint and a social reformer. He founded the society of the brother of St. Gabriel and many other organizations to carry out the social reforms and educate the children and the youth. It is located in rural area. It is located in Kolebira block of Simdega district, of Jharkhand. The school consists of grades from 1 to 8. The school is co-educational and it have an attached pre-primary section. English is the medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all sides by well connected roads. In this school the academic session starts from April.
